Escape From the City: Exploring Montreal's Mount Royal Park
Mount Royal Park serves as a green oasis in the heart of Montreal. Centred around a small mountain that offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding areas, the park was designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, also a creator of New York's Central Park. Opened in 1876, it features a mix of natural landscapes, including forests, open meadows, and a large pond known as Beaver Lake.
